Question 1

What size pallet rack do I need?

Accepted Answer

42-inch-deep uprights are the usual starting point for standard 48-inch-deep pallets. Common beam lengths are 96 inches for two 40-inch-wide pallets, 108 inches and 144 inches for three; rack height follows clear height and forklift lift height. Measure your real pallets, including overhang, before ordering.

Question 2

How much does pallet rack cost?

Accepted Answer

Price depends on pallet positions, rack height, beam capacity, decking, freight and installation. Send your pallet size, heaviest load per level, clear height and building size for a free CAD layout and an itemized quote for new material.

Question 3

How many pallet positions fit in my warehouse?

Accepted Answer

The count depends on clear height, aisle width and your forklift. Our free CAD layout gives the exact count for the proposed arrangement before you buy, with beam levels and working aisles shown together.

Question 4

What type of pallet rack do I need?

Accepted Answer

Selective teardrop rack is the usual starting point for mixed SKUs. Pushback stores 2–6 pallets deep with LIFO retrieval by SKU; pallet flow suits FIFO or dated stock; drive-in suits bulk quantities of few SKUs; cantilever supports long loads; carton flow serves case picking. We compare those choices with your inventory and handling equipment.

Question 5

How long does it take to get and install pallet rack?

Accepted Answer

Standard teardrop sizes often quick-ship, while high-density systems and non-standard sizes take longer; lead time is confirmed on your quote. Installation time depends on bay count and site readiness, and we agree the work sequence with your operations team before scheduling.
